Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Ever since he can remember, Dr. Smith has had positive experiences at the dentist’s office. He grew up with a huge gap in the middle of his front two teeth, and after undergoing orthodontic treatment as a teenager, he personally got to experience the amazing confidence boost that came from having a straighter, more attractive smile. At that point, he knew that he wanted to provide that very same happiness to the people around him – and the rest is history.

Study Dentistry?
After attending Arkansas State University, Dr. Smith achieved his dental doctorate at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Before opening his own dental office, he worked at a variety of different dental offices across Northeast Arkansas, Southeast Missouri, and Memphis, gaining lots of value experience along the way. As for continuing education, he has completed courses with companies like Nobel Biocare and Versah regarding dental implants, BOTOX/Juvederm training with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and hundreds of hours of online training through Dentaltown!
